Oliverio M. “Ollie” Teixeira

Oliverio M. “Ollie” Teixeira, age 74, of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on November 30th, 2017. Ollie was the beloved husband of Maria Joanne (Garcia) Teixeira of Wilmington. He was the loving father of David Teixeira of East Boston and Sandra Wentzell and her husband Daniel of Hampstead, NH. He was the cherished grandfather of Jeremy and Lindsey Wentzell. Ollie was the son of the late Jose “Joe” and Maria (Goncalo) Teixeira, dear brother of Gloria Pacheco, Octavio Teixeira, Jose Teixeira, Antonio Teixeira, Margarida Moniz, Isabel Lourenco and the late Benedita Marques. Oliverio is survived by his in-laws; Joe Garcia, Antonio Garcia and Maria Graham, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62) Wilmington, on Tuesday, December 5th, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rt. 38), Wilmington at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 4th from 4-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Oliverio’s name can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
