Patricia A. (Sullivan) Carlino

Patricia A. (Sullivan) Carlino, age 57, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2018 at the Winchester Hospital.

Patricia was born on December 14, 1960 in Somerville, MA; she was the cherished daughter of the late William J. and Helen (McMaster) Sullivan. Patricia was grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. Following graduation, she went to Nursing School where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing.

Patricia went to work as a nurse at the Chelsea Soldiers’ Home. She loved her job and made many friends with her warm and caring personality. After many years of dedicated nursing, Patricia earned the title of Nurse Manager.

Patricia married Frank Vincent Carlino on March 10, 1985. The couple moved to Wilmington where they raised their four daughters, Jessica, Sarah, April and Trisha. They shared many wonderful memories as a tight-knit family before Frank’s passing in 2010. Patricia was a strong, loving Mom who continued to raise her girls.

In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and dogs, going to Osterville in the summer, shopping, going out to eat, gardening, swimming, trips to the casino and watching her favorite sports team, The New England Patriots.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Frank Vincent Carlino, devoted mother of Jessica Carlino & Michael Kelley, Sarah Carlino & Nick Pepper, April Carlino & Michael Labrecque all of Wilmington and Trisha Carlino & Jesse Cunningham of Lowell, loving grandmother of the late Ava Grace and Emma Rose Kelley, cherished daughter of the late William J. and Helen (McMaster) Sullivan, dear sister of Billy & Maura Sullivan of Litchfield, NH, Karen Taverna & Joe Lepera of Belmont and Kelly & Brett Ramsdell of Brentwood, NH. Patricia is survived by her extended family including Carol Beagen, Debbie Anemoduris, John & Colleen Carlino, Michael & Andrea Carlino, Nancy Wheeler, the late Frankie Carlino, Mary Carlino, many loving nieces & nephews, as well as her dogs Maggie, Sugar, Vinny, the late Romeo and her cat, the late Julie.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Thursday, November 29th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rte. 38), Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 28th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
