Richard J. “Rick” Palmer, Jr.

Richard J. “Rick” Palmer, Jr., age 61, of Wilmington, passed away on July 28, 2017.

Rick was the beloved husband of Ann (Holbrook) Palmer, devoted father of Nicholas Palmer of Malden and Daniel Palmer of Everett, loving “Grampy” of Riley Palmer, cherished son of Richard J. and the late Rachel A. (McLaughlin) Palmer of Wilmington, dear brother of Douglas Palmer of Wilmington, Christine Taylor & her husband Bruce of CT, Jeffrey Palmer & his wife Karen of Manchester, NH and the late Rachel McCarthy formerly of Dracut, uncle of Shamus, Kathryn, Joseph, Maeve and Graeme.  Richard is also survived by his brother-in-law, James McCarthy, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Saturday, August 5th from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial donations in Rick’s name may be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, Susan G. Komen, Dept. 41831, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
