Richard, Mark A., age 53, of Methuen, formerly of Tewksbury and Wilmington, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 26, 2011. Mark was the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Sullivan) Richard, devoted father of Matthew J. Richard and his wife Kenna, Michael L. Richard, and Mark Daniel Richard all of Methuen, cherished son of Leonard and Dorothy Richard of Billerica formerly of Tewksbury, dear brother of Douglas Richard and his wife Tracey of Arizona, and David Richard and his wife Barbara of Georgia, son-in-law of Daniel and Evelyn Sullivan of Wilmington, Mark is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Saturday, October 1st at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rte. 38), Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours Friday, September 30th from 4-8 p.m.
At the time of his death Mark was employed as a carpenter for Coulter Construction Company.
Mark was a Highly Decorated Army Veteran who served in the Gulf War.
