Robyn L. Nadeau-Flynn

May 4th, 2016

Robyn L. Nadeau-Flynn (Evans), age 60, of Tewksbury, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 4, 2016, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Robyn was born on July 31, 1955 in Lynn, MA; she was the cherished only child of the late Everett and Marjorie (Blood) Evans. Robyn was raised and educated in Saugus, MA and a graduate of Saugus High School with the Class of 1973.

Robyn moved to Wilmington in 1982 where she raised three wonderful children Michael, Melissa, and Kimberly. Robyn was a very devoted mother; she was involved in everything her children did and was always proud of their accomplishments.

Robyn was a hard worker, for more than 10 years she worked at Massbank in Wilmington; through her dedication and customer service skills she earned many promotions and retired from the bank in 1997 as a bank officer.

In 1997, Robyn followed her dreams and embarked on a new career as a florist buying Main Street Florist at Wilmington Plaza. Robyn loved flowers and had a creative knack for designing; she made countless beautiful arrangements throughout the years. After a few years at the Plaza, Robyn re-located her floral business to the Lucci’s Plaza and re-named it All Seasons Florist. Robyn worked tirelessly through the years and finally retired in 2009 to become a “Professional Grandmother”; a job she cherished.

Robyn took on the role as a caretaker for her grandchildren; they were the center of her universe and the light of her life. Robyn loved them unconditionally and thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow and develop into wonderful little people with big personalities.

For the past year, Robyn went back into the workforce taking a position at the CPA firm Flaherty & Company in North Andover; she truly enjoyed her job and co-workers who will miss her dearly.

Robyn had many talents, sewing, pillow making, decorating, and she could do just about every craft imaginable. In her spare time, Robyn also enjoyed going to the beach, lobster dinners, shopping, especially on Black Friday, and sitting down to a good cup of tea with her family or a friend.

Robyn’s love and devotion to her family and friends was always foremost in her life; she was a very devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and a true friend to many. Robyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Robyn was the devoted mother of Michael Nadeau & wife Kristine and Melissa Moreira & husband Steve all of Billerica, and Kimberly Nadeau of Tewksbury. Loving grandmother of Emilie, Lilianna, & Michael Nadeau Jr., Aubrey, Haylee, Ava & Landon Moreira, and Kylie Guida. Cherished daughter of the late Everett and Marjorie (Blood) Evans. Robyn is also survived by her partner Brian Hurley of Tewksbury, her former husband Gerald Nadeau of Falmouth, as well as many dear friends.

Family and friends will gather for a Service on Saturday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Robyn’s memory may be made to the American Stroke Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
