Rosalie Zambello, age 86, of West Peabody, formerly of East Boston, died peacefully on February 15, 2012, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.Rosalie was born on June 25, 1925 in Boston, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (Freda) Zambello. Rosalie was raised and educated in East Boston, she lived in Saugus for several years before moving to West Peabody over 30 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Rosalie worked as a Supervisor for the Polaroid Company in Cambridge for most of her career, she made many friends throughout the years and was a very dedicated employee.
In her spare time, Rosalie enjoyed gardening and she loved taking care of her beloved dogs.
Rosalie was the dear sister of the late Joseph Zambello, Michael Zambello and Edith Paolini. Rosalie is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington for Visiting Hours on Saturday, February 18th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will conclude at the Mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalie’s memory may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101 First Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02454.
