Rose S. Scifo (Castellano), age 88, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 2, 2018.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Costanzio “Joe” Scifo, devoted mother of Kathleen Solas & husband James, Patricia Biasella & husband Armando, Joseph Scifo & wife Linda and Vincent Scifo & wife Linda all of Wilmington, Karen Rondeau & husband Paul of Salem, NH and Jennifer Roscigno & husband Vince of Derry, NH. Loving “Nana” of Erica, Lisa, John, Joseph, Kerri, Allea, Vincent Jr. and Sophie, “Great-Nana” of Holden, Devin, Grace, Rebecca, Victoria, Cynthia, Isabella, Dominic and Benjamin, “Great-Great-Nana” of Adreena and Grayson. Cherished daughter of the late Vincent “James” and Serafina Castellano, dear sister of Vivian “Anna” Lupoli of Groton, Lillian Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL, the late Michael Castellano Sr. & his wife Lucy Castellano of Marco Island, FL, and the late James Castellano. Rose is also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend Rosalie Castellano, special aunt of James and Theresa Castellano and their children all of Wilmington and is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, April 7th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St. (Rte. 38), Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 6th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A 1st Ave., Waltham, MA 02451 or to a Charity of your choice.

She was the sweetest,kind,and fun loving person with lots of love in her heart for everyone. She enjoyed her visits to York Maine and we loved having her with us. These visits will be sorely missed. We loved her dearly.
