Sheila J. Nason

Sheila J Nason, age 55, of Wilmington, died peacefully in her home with her beloved children at her side on May 30, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Sheila was born on June 20, 1956 in Boston, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joyce (Avery) and William Nason.  Sheila resided in East Boston for many years before moving to Wilmington in 1989,   Sheila was a hardworking and strong individual that not only managed major projects for major health care companies but she trained and ran in sprint triathlons.

Sheila was a devoted mother of three children and the best “Grandma” to her grandsons, her love for her family was unwavering.  She was a woman of great faith and devotion to the lord, a true Christian who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, no questions asked Sheila was there to help.

She had an abundance of loved ones around her during the hard times and in good times she used her spare energy to help and support others with her kind words of love and faith. Sheila touched countless people, her kind and caring ways drew those around her closer to her; her words of wisdom and love will be in our hearts for eternity.

Sheila was the devoted mother of Eilene Andrew and her husband Jason of Wilmington, Richard Recupero and his fiancé Kerry Enering of Virginia, and Daniel Recupero of Japan, loving “Grandma” of Richard Recupero and Samuel Andrew and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her grandson due this summer,  sister of Barbara Nason and her husband Frank Fagone of Revere.  Sheila is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lots of dear friends.

Family and friends gathered for a Funeral Service on Monday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington.  Visiting hours were held on Sunday, June 3rd from 6-9 p.m. Memorial in Sheila’s name may be made to My Father’s House, 83 Middlesex Street, North Chelmsford, MA 01863.
