Doris A. (Heatlie) Sinclair, age 76, of Naples, FL, formerly of Lexington, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2010, at the Naples Community Hospital.

Born on September 13, 1934, in Newton, MA, Doris was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Esther (Tippett) Heatlie.

Prior to retiring, Doris was an executive secretary for the Presidents of several companies, she was always conscientious and hard working.

Doris married Harold P. Sinclair in November of 1956, the couple shared over 40 wonderful years of marriage until Harold passed in 1998. Doris and Harold lived in Lexington for many years where they raised their two sons, after the passing of her husband, Doris moved to Florida where she made many friends and relished being in the “warmer” weather.

In her spare time, Doris enjoyed traveling with family and friends, walking the beach, and swimming in the ocean.

Doris loved her family, and would do anything for them, she was an amazing cook, wonderful wife, a good mother, and she loved being a grandmother. Doris will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Doris was the wife of the late Harold P. Sinclair, mother of Phillip Sinclair & his companion Lisa Page of Methuen and Bob Sinclair & his wife Elaine of Middleton, she is also survived by her granddaughters Amy & Ashley Sinclair and their mother Susan Sinclair all of Wilmington, her sister Priscilla Bartlett & her husband Robert of New London, CT, her dear companion Alfred Hambelton, her sister-in-law Gladys Moore of Bedford, nieces Althea Bartlett and Linda Bartlett as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, for visiting hours on Wednesday, December 22nd from 5-8 p.m. All are welcome to join the family for a Service at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Doris’ name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
