Thorner, Mary

Mary J. (Carrabino) (Casullo) Thorner, age 88, of Reading, formerly of Medford, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 28, 2011.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late George F. Thorner and Pasquale D. Casullo, devoted mother of Mary Ann Iannaco and her husband Robert of Reading, Annette Ciaramaglia and her husband Angelo of Tewksbury, Janice Griffin and her husband Robert of Andover, Patricia Staffier and her husband Frank of Wilmington, and the late Michael J. Casullo and his wife Catherine, loving grandmother of Michael Casullo, Jr., Lisa Casullo-Lowell, Joseph Casullo, Robert Iannaco, Jr., Gregg Iannaco, Troy Iannaco, John Ciaramaglia, Michelle Godette, Nicole Ciaramaglia, Tara Griffin, Jennifer Deschenes, Tricia Zullo, Mark Staffier, Gina Haerer, Leah Tildsley, and great-grandchildren Alana Casullo, Jackson Casullo, Jamerson Casullo, Ethan Lowell, Alicia Casullo, Steven Casullo, Ashley Iannaco, Nicholas Iannaco, Dominic Iannaco, Christian Iannaco, Zachary Godette, Brady Godette, Adam Staffier, Jacob Haerer, and Joshua Haerer, cherished daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Ruma) Carrabino, dear sister of the late Joseph Carrabino, Frank Carrabino, and Angelina Thompson.

At the family’s request Funeral Services were private.

In lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s name may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.

    Nana and the entire Casullo Family,
    Carol, Ashley, Nick and I were so sad that we could not be with you during this very difficult week or for services on Saturday. We were all thinking of you and remembering all the good times we had with nana. We were so blessed to have such a wonderful grandmother and also for our kids to have grown up with a loving great grandmother all these years. We love you all.
