Victor G. Maher

Victor G. Maher, age 77, of Wilmington, passed away on July 22, 2020.

Victor was the beloved husband of Maureen F. (Sullivan) Maher, cherished son of the late George V. and Claire (Vigneau) Maher, dear brother of Phillip Maher & his wife Priscilla of Reading and Jonathan Maher of Worcester, uncle of Sarah, Joshua and Jackson. Victor was very special to Lorraine & Sue, Jillene & Larry, Chuck & Bill, Andrew & Sam and Bob Brown.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Monday, July 27th at 12:00 noon. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 26th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Masks are required in the Funeral Home.

Memorial donations in Victor’s name may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.

    I’m so glad I was able to make it, however unexpectedly, to your surprise birthday party in 2017. I have memories of the work you did on those cars in your parent’s driveways and back yard. The 442 Oldsmobile, was that a 1972? I think I even remember the Corvette. You were always very articulate. You and your two brothers will be remembered for treating your aging Mother so very well. You’ll be missed, cousin Vic. –John Bertelsen

    Vic was a rare combination of smart, kind, generous, and funny. You rarely find that combination all in one person. I wish I had more time with Vic. I’ll miss him.

    I knew and worked with Vic over many years at GE , so sad to see him leave this earth.
    I kinda lost touch with him after I retired in 2005. He was living with his Dad on montvale ave. For a time I was riding in with George to work at GE.
    We always had some good discussions over daily life at GE and current events
