Vincent A. DiMauro, Jr.

Vincent Anthony DiMauro, Jr., age 38, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2017.

Vinnie was born on September 4, 1979 in Melrose, MA; he was raised in Wilmington and graduated from St. John’s Prep. He was a proud player for Wilmington Baseball. Following graduation, Vincent attended UVM and UMass Boston.

Vincent worked as a recruiter for NETTTS in North Andover for several years. He was passionate about his job and loved going to work every day.

Vinnie was a huge sports fan; he loved the city of Boston and he enjoyed watching all New England sporting events with his family and friends. He loved playing catch with his nephew Cody. He spent hours teaching him about football, baseball, and the importance of good sportsmanship. Vinnie loved spending time with his family in Vermont. He loved spending time outdoors, hiking and hunting with his dad.

Vincent was the cherished son of Faye (Sullivan) Jenkins of Wilmington and Vincent Anthony DiMauro, Sr. & his fiancée Robin Saunders of Sunapee, NH, dear brother of Cara Lombardi & her husband Matthew of Tewksbury, and Michael DiMauro of West Windsor, VT. He was a special uncle of Cody, Macy, and Lena Lombardi. Vincent is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, November 27th from 10:00-11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Dorothy’s Church, Main Street (Rte. 38), Wilmington at 12:00 noon.

Memorial donations in Vincent’s name may be made to Brady’s Foundation, 200 Woodview Way, Suite 2417, Andover, MA 01810.

    Well I just started New England Tractor trailer school 3 weeks ago!(NETTS) & Vinny was the first Smiling face As I walked in the door day 1 with his clean well dressed shirt with his name on it. He was so welcoming and friendly to help new students, So about a week ago I needed a pen to borrow, while he was on his computer, so he gave me one- and I said I would return tomorrow so I brought back pen,& Vinny out?!vacation day?An Eternal vacation? Ha bye
