I will treasure my memories of Sheila forever. She was a great woman who shared her love and smile with everyone, including my girls. I'm honored to have two of her famous handmade blankets to have and hold forever. The Fuller Family

Dear Alice and John and Sheila's husband and children,
Alice and John, my sincere condolences go out to you as I know how much you will miss Sheila. To her children who don't know me, I want you to know that I didn't know your Mom for a long time, nor did I meet her many times, but the few times that we spent together, up on Long Lake at my friend's Karen and Chris's place, are forever etched into my mind. In particular is the weeked we ran (ha/ha) walked the four on the fourth in Bridgeton. Sheila and I got caught up talking about stuff, all kinds of stuff that mothers talk about and got lost, and came in last! So what, we had a fun time is what Sheila and I thought. Sheila and I had so many laughs about that. In the short time I knew Sheila, I knew she was a genuine, down-to-earth, family-loving, just a good-all-around person. I always looked forward to seeing Sheila when I went to Maine. May your memories sustain you. Sheila, may you rest in peace with God. Pray for us. God Bless. Robin Leonard

The world has lost a wonderful women, my thoughts and prayers go out to the Woods family. Not only was Sheila the "Wilmington Girl" at Avco/Textron but she was like a mother to many and took us under her wing. Memories of Sheila will be with us forever!

Sheila grew up in her late teens and early twenties in the Murphy household as my big sister. She has been an inspiration to me my whole life. I am certain that Linda, Johnny, Patty and Joey feel the same way.

We wish so much that we could be back there in this time of loss for our family. Our hearts are there with all of you. I will miss Nana so much and I know Max wishes he would have had the chance to have met her. I know she will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew her. She was a bright light that shined in all of our lives. Loved by all, remembered forever.

Affectionatly,
Max and Erin Samets-Thomas
