Joseph M. Zanoni., age 102, of Wilmington, passed away May 15 at the Wilmington Healthcare Center.
Born in Boston on February 12, 1908, Joe was the beloved son of the late Albert L. and Joanna (Sacchi) Zanoni. Joseph grew up in Somerville a one of six children.
A long time resident of Wilmington, Joe worked as a self employed carpenter.
Joe was the dear brother of Elizabeth Zanoni of Wilmington, Edythe Frezza of Wilmington formerly of Medford, the late Louise Thompson, Albert Zanoni, and Henry Zanoni, Joseph is also survived by his great-nephew William L. Thompson & his wife Joanna of Wilmington as well as many other great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, May 19th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment took place at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
