Kevin T. Tully

Kevin T. Tully, age 68, of Malden, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2018, at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

Kevin was the beloved son of the late Francis and Margaret (Sullivan) Tully, dear brother of Rev. Eugene Tully of Wilmington and the late Gerald “Jerry” Tully, brother-in-law of Judith Tully of Wilmington, loving Uncle of Karen Richardson of Tewksbury, Brian Tully of York, ME, John Tully of Wilmington, Mark Tully & his wife Nancy of Foxboro and Maura Puleo & her husband Robert of Chesterfield, VA. Kevin is also survived his aunt Margaret Tully as well as many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Wednesday, October 31st at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 30th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

Memorial donations in Kevin’s name may be made to Malden Catholic High School Scholarship Fund and please send to the External Affairs Office, Malden Catholic, 99 Crystal Street, Malden, MA 02148.

Kevin was very active in MEMA (Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency) and a founder of the Malden Emergency Center where he dedicated more than 50 years of service.

    I’m saddened for your loss. Kevin had a presence wherever he was & will surely be missed by you and all his friends, coworkers, and associates he left his mark on over the years.
    I only knew him for two years but his friendship meant a lot to me as he was a great sounding board. I’ll miss my morning coffee with Kevin.

    I was heartbroken to hear of Kevin’s passing. I only knew him for two years and served on our Condo Board together. He became a fast friend and I was so fortunate to have him as friend. Rest In Peace my friend. You looked out for all. God Bless.
