Irene C. (McSweeney) Beaton, age 90, of Wilmington, died September 24, 2008.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Beaton, devoted mother of Maureen Munroe & her husband Frank of Tewksbury, Thomas F. Beaton & his wife Cleo of Calabasas, CA, and the late Joseph P. Beaton, Jr., mother-in-law of Barbara Beaton of Woodland Hills, CA, loving grandmother of Daniel Munroe & Erin Munroe both of Tewksbury, Kerry Hanley of Wilmington, and Andrew Beaton of California, great-grandmother of Derek, Jamie, & Dylan Munroe and Sean & Taylor Hanley, dear daughter of the late William & Helen (Coleman) McSweeney.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 29th at St. Dorothy’s Church, Main St., Wilmington at 11:00 a.m.
