Bradford, Milton

Milton L. Bradford, Jr., age 77, of Wilmington, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on November 25, 1930 to Milton & Ima Bradford of Maine. He was a retired Lt. Commander of the U.S. Navy. Milton worked in insurance for many years at the Andover Companies.

Milton is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Marion Bradford, he was the devoted father of three daughters, Elizabeth Danielle & her husband Dana of Stow, MA, Dawn Virtus & her husband Jack of Vero Beach, FL and Jennifer Howard & her husband Leonard of Amherst, NH, and loving grandfather of three granddaughters.

Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, May 20th from 6-8 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Milton's name may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867 or to the VNA or Hospice of your choice.
