Brennan, Thomas

We regret to announce the unexpected death of Thomas M. Brennan, 76, of Wilmington, on August 17, 2007. Veteran of the U. S. Army, former member of Burlington Police Dept. and beloved husband of Audrey Brennan for 54 years.

He was the loving and devoted father of Cathryn Baker & her husband Robert, Robert Brennan & his wife Jaime, Thomas Brennan & his wife Sharon, Corey Brennan, and the late Deborah Brennan all of Wilmington. He leaves a twin brother Joseph, 10 grandchildren and many brothers and sisters. He loved God, family, his country, sunshine, gardening, working in his yard, Irish music, being with his wife, children, grandchildren, police work, helping his neighbors, fishing, listening to Bishop Sheehan tapes, reading, beginning and ending each day with a prayer.

His funeral was held from the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., Wilmington, followed by a Mass at St. Thomas Church and he was laid to rest in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington, beside his daughter Debbie.

He left deep footprints on our hearts and we will never, ever, be the same without him.
