Burke, Elsie Obituary

Elsie C. (Watson) Burke – Age 79 of Lowell died peacefully with her family close by her side on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 after a brief illness.

Born in Somerville on November 30th, 1928 she was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie Watson. Devoted mother of Catherine Callahan & her husband William of Mystic, CT; Michael Burke of Lowell; Thomas Burke and the late James Burke. Loving grandmother of Shelly, Michelle, Daniel, Jared, Jonathan & Jason and loved by her four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, May 30th,12:30 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc.,187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington. Interment to follow in the family lot at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.

Memorial donations in Elsie’s name may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
