Mrs. Carol A. (Antonowitch) MacKinnon, 62, of Andover, NH, formerly of Wilmington, died Thursday, March 29, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington following a lengthy illness. Carol was born September 19, 1944, in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Antony & Caroline (Aurelio) Antonowitch. She lived in Boston until the age of 12 years old when her family moved to Wilmington. Carol continued her education there and she graduated from Wilmington High School, she remained a Wilmington resident for over 40 years until she moved to New Hampshire five years ago. Prior to retiring Carol worked in the assembly department from Compugraphic Company which later became AGFA Company in Wilmington for many years. In her spare time Carol was an active Girl Scout Leader in Wilmington for many years, her hobbies included camping and she loved to shop.
Carol was the beloved wife of the late Henry F. MacKinnon, devoted mother of Michael MacKinnon of Hudson, NH, and the late Susan MacKinnon, loving “Yaya” of Shana and Jacob MacKinnon, dear sister of the late Antony Antonowitch II.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 4, at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment took place in the family lot at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
