Crupi, Anthony

Anthony M. Crupi, age 22, a life-long resident of Wilmington died Sunday, September 14, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Anthony was born on March 25, 1986, and was the beloved son of John C. & Karen (Siragusa) Crupi of Wilmington. Anthony attended Wilmington Public Schools and was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, Class of 2004 where he majored in electrical. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts and received his Eagle Scout Award during a ceremony that was held at Camp Forty Acres in Wilmington. At the time of his death, Anthony was employed as an electrician for Electrical Dynamics Inc. In his spare time, Anthony enjoyed snowmobiling, jet skiing, riding his quad, and hanging out with his family and friends. Anthony was loved by all who knew him and will surely be missed.

Besides his parents Anthony is survived by his loving sister Elena M. Crupi of Wilmington, his grandparents Gerlanda & Francis Siragusa of Derry, NH and Antonio & Olivia Crupi of Tewksbury, his aunts & uncles Christine & William Starratt of Wilmington, Gerard & Elizabeth Siragusa of Derry, NH, Carl & Maribeth Crupi of Wilmington, and Grace Marie & Rob Niceforo of Lawrence. Anthony is also survived by his girlfriend Shayna Swanson of Burlington and many cousins & friends.

Family & friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Thursday morning at 8:45 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
