John J. Donato, age 71, of Wilmington, died October 26, 2008.

Beloved husband of the late Mary V. (Sheehan) Donato, devoted father of John W. Donato & his wife Tammy and Christine M. Brogna all of Wilmington, loving Papa of Paul S., Jr & Danielle M. Brogna, Billy & Mary Eastman, and Nicole Donato, dear son of the late John & Mary Donato, brother of Connie Heim of Roslindale, also survived by several brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Retired Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 17. U. S. Navy Veteran Vietnam War.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 31st at 10:00 a.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62) Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 30th from 4-8 p.m.

Memorial donations in John’s name may be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
