Fraser, Joan

Joan was born on March 2, 1936 in Boston, MA. Joan grew up in the Boston area and following High School she graduated from Boston Nursing Academy. Joan married Hugh D. Fraser in 1959, they celebrated 49 years of marriage, prior to his passing in May of 2008. Joan and Hugh moved to Wilmington in 1959 where they raised their sons and resided until their death. Joan was a member of A.I.M. in Wilmington and in her spare time she loved to read. Joan will be remembered for her sweet and kind ways, always helping others and putting them before her own needs, and for her devotion to her family and friends, there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them and they will miss her dearly.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Hugh D. Fraser, devoted mother of Brad Fraser & his wife Lynn and Greg Fraser & his wife Gina all of Wilmington, dear & loving grandmother of Brad, Jr., Jaclyn, Justin, & David Fraser.
