Gerard J. Bedard

Gerard J. “Jerry” Bedard, 58, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly, May 2, at the Winchester Hospital.

Jerry was born October 19, 1948, in Victoriaville, Canada, he was the son of Mary Ann (Guerin) and the late Valerian Bedard of Canada. Jerry moved to the United States and settled in Wilmington over 35 years ago. He was self-employed as a contractor at the time of his death.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Anne (Stratos) Bedard, his mother MaryAnn Bedard of Canada, he was the father of Christine Flores & her husband Gene, grandfather of Michael Flores, son-in-law of Christine Stratos all of Wilmington, also survived by two sisters and one brother.

A funeral service was held at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Monday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m. and was celebrated by Father Michael Wilson. Interment took place in the family lot in Wildwood Cemetery.
