Gregory G. Duffy

Mr. Gregory G. Duffy, 48, of No. Andover, formerly of Reading, died unexpectedly, February 6, 2007, at his home. Greg was born August 15, 1958, in Norfolk, VA, he was the beloved son of the late Charles and Amy (Frederick) Duffy. Greg grew up in Reading, MA, and he graduated from Austin Prep. High School in Reading. Greg was employed as a district manager for the Boston Chowda Company for many years. In his spare time Greg was an avid sports fan, he loved the Red Sox and the Patriots, he was also a trivia buff and the “go-to” person for the tough trivia questions. He was the kind of person that was liked by all he met and was known as the “gentle giant”, he will be greatly missed.

Greg is survived by his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Liz Brown and her husband Mike of Cary, IL, and Charlotte Ratley and her husband Steve of Abita Springs, LA, his nieces and nephews, Chris, Amy, Jamie, Andrew, Nicole, & Taylor, his aunts and uncles, Paul & Jo Duffy, Paul & Belle Frederick, and Betty & Will David, he is also survived by many friends.

His Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 10, at St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading, MA, at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
