James N. Brunelle, “Jim”, age 71, of Billerica, passed away on November 10, 2023, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Jim was born on July 25, 1952, in Boston, MA; he was the cherished son of the late Alfred and Lillian Marie (Lemieux) Brunelle. Jim was raised and educated in Wilmington.
Jim married Linda J. (Pine) Brunelle on July 1, 1983; they settled in Billerica, where they raised their two daughters, Jenny, and Ashley.
Jim worked as a carpenter and tile contractor for several companies before starting his own business. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family.
In his spare time, Jim enjoyed surfcasting, especially in Welfleet, MA. He had a special interest in drones and could fix any cell phone.
Jim was the beloved husband of Linda Brunelle, devoted father of Jenny L. Brunelle & her husband Ali M. Eldeeb of Littleton and Ashley R. Swift & her husband Campbell of Brighton, dear brother of Joanne Harriman & her husband Bill of Pepperell, Bob Brunelle & his partner Don Ball of Berwick, ME, Sarah Ryan Brunelle of Leominster, Gail Donovan & her husband Gary of Wilmington, the late John Brunelle, and the late Ricky Brunelle. Jim is also survived by his brother-in-law Tim Ryan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Thursday, November 16th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, on Friday, November 17th at 10:00 a.m.
