Josef met "his sweetheart" Dolly Hellstrom and the couple married on August 27, 1960. When Josef came to Massachusetts, he enrolled in Northeastern University in Boston where he graduated in 1975 with a bachelors degree in respiratory therapy. Josef went on to take a position as a respiratory therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where he worked for many years. Josef had a great work ethic; he was kind and caring with his patients as well as their families. In his later years, Josef, worked at Winchester Hospital where he again had a great reputation and was well liked by the patients and staff.
Josef will be fondly remembered as a great father and a wonderful family man. Josef was also a man of great faith and lived by the word of God. Josef was kind, caring, and a loving man; he will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
