Marion G. Halpin (Foshey), age 101, of Haverhill, MA, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2022.
Marion was predeceased by her husband Ralph, her parents George and Marion Foshey, and special nephew Charles Hardy. Dear mother of Marion and Richard Hodges of Groveland, Judith and Arthur Zaino of Bradford, Lillian and Richard Robinson of Burlington, Vermont, Ralph Halpin Jr. of Haverhill, Janis and Scott Mosher of Florida, and Janice Hardy of Maine. Loving "Mimi" of 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Marion was one of 11 siblings; she is survived by Arthur, Charlotte, David and Robert, pre-deceased by Helen, George, Fred, Charles, Donald, and Lois. Marion is survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Marion graduated from Boston’s High School of Practical Arts and then went on to become an LPN.
Marion was a woman of great faith and longtime member of the Abundant Life Church in Wilmington. In 1986 she fulfilled her dream to be a missionary and did volunteer work in Haiti. She was always one to give of herself and her talents to others.
Family and friends will gather for calling hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte.62), Wilmington, MA, on Friday, September 30th from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington MA.
