Mary F. (Foley) Heckbert

Mary Foley Heckbert, age 64, of Wilmington, formerly of Medford, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2022.

Born in Concord, NH she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Shea) Foley.

Mary was employed for many years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late William M. Heckbert, Jr. She was the devoted mother of Cheryl Murphy and her husband Keeley of Wilmington. Loving “Grams” of Nathaniel and Alexander Murphy of Wilmington. She was the dear sister of Virginia Silverman and her husband Kurt of Andover, Elizabeth Foley and her husband Rudy Tench of Florida, Jim Foley of Concord, NH, Pat Foley of Concord, NH and Joseph Foley and his wife Leslie of Sherborn. Mary is survived by her mother-in-law Barbara Heckbert of Tewksbury, sisters-in-law Pam DeMattia of Wilmington and Valerie Donadio and her husband Gabe of Tewksbury, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 1st at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the cemetery gate before 10:00 AM to join a procession to the grave. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
