McNeil, Ann Marie

Ann Marie (Harris) McNeil, age 70, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 24, 2007, at the Winchester Hospital. Anne was born November 11, 1937, in Cambridge; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Veronica Harris. She grew up in Quincy, MA, where she was educated at graduated from Quincy High School.

Following her marriage to the late Walter E. "Bubba" McNeil, Ann and Bubba lived in Boston for a few years before moving to Wilmington in 1969. Prior to retirement, Ann was a secretary for the Carpenters Union on Fordham Road in Wilmington for many years. Ann was devoted to her family, she loved being a mother and in the last year a grandmother to Charlie. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Anne was the beloved wife of the late Walter E. "Bubba" McNeil, devoted mother of Susan Roy & her husband John and the late Charles "Chuckie" McNeil all of Wilmington, and loving grandmother of Charlie Roy.

Her Funeral will be held from the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62) Wilmington, on Friday, December 28th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
