Michelle Marie (Mackey) Bussey

Michelle Marie (Mackey) Bussey, age 55, of Lowell, formerly of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 31, 2022.

Michelle was born on December 19, 1966, in Boston, MA; she was the dear daughter of the late Richard and Lois Mackey.  Michelle was raised and educated in Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 1984.  She went on to earn her Associates Degree at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, MA.  Michelle worked in the Administration field for many years.

In her spare time, Michelle loved taking long car rides with her husband Fred, she was passionate about her elephant collection, she was an avid shopper and enjoyed bowling in a league for many years. Michelle also had a talent for painting and drawing throughout the years.

Michelle is survived by her children, Monique Bussey of Nashua, NH and Patrick Bussey and his wife Romona of Lowell as well as her 3 month old grandson Jimmy.  She is further survived by her brother Marc Mackey, her niece Brittney Mackey and her life-long best friend Andrea Costello, as well as her many cousins and her cat Midnight who she adored.  Besides her parents, Michelle is also pre-deceased by her husband Fred Marchand of Lowell who passed on June 4th of this year.

A Celebration of Life for Michelle will be held on Sunday, September 18th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Wilmington, MA.
