Nary, Ann

Ann D. (DesRoches) Nary, 74, of Tewksbury, entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2008, at Mass General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Bellow Falls, VT, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Mary (Angier) DesRoches. She was a 1952 graduate of Nute High School in Milton Mills, NH, and a member of the National Honor Society. Ann retired from Diamond Crystal Salt Company in 1996 where she had worked for 30 years. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most gentle person. She was a friend to all. Some of her fondest memories were her winter trips to Florida with time spent at Disney World, summers spent with family on Goose Pond in Shapleigh, ME, and the Fourth of July celebrations held at the Wilmington Common.

She gave all of her love to Robert Couture, her companion of over 30 years, her sons Michael of Tewksbury, Lee of Bar Harbor, ME, Kevin of Venice Beach, FL, Eddie of Tewksbury, and her daughter Karen Buchanan of Agawam, loving grandmother of three granddaughters Christy, Amy, and Michelle Nary.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 15th, at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington, from 5-7 p.m., immediately followed by a Funeral Service which will be held at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
