Patrick M. McCue

July 2, 1964 ~ August 5, 2023 (age 59) 59 Years Old

Obituary

Patrick Michael McCue, "Pat", passed away at age 59, in Zephyrhills, FL, on August 5, 2023.

Patrick was born in Winchester, MA, on July 2, 1964; he was the cherished son of Beatrice Rose (Langiano) McCue and the late Daniel Leo McCue.  Pat was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School, "Class of 1983".

Pat's profession has always been in the concrete, sand, and gravel business.  He first drove a cement mixer for Erin Concrete which was owned by his late father Daniel.  He had his own business after that for several years, McCue and Son Contracting. Worked at RED-E-MIX in Wilmington for most of his life where he drove a mixer, ran the sand and stone crusher, and was a Loader Operator.

Pat loved his toys and had just about everything from snow mobiles to seadoo's, boats and 4-wheelers.  He owned several beautiful Harley's over the years and his latest project was his "86" corvette.  He and his family made so many great year round memories together at Winnisquam Beach Campground for about eight years.  He loved hanging out with his Nieces and Nephews Jennifer Babin, Colleen Babin, Michael Babin, Jamie Carrol, Josh and Adam Flaherty and Jody.  Lots of belly laughs around the firepit and beyond.

Pat and his loving companion Jo Ann had just moved to Zephyrhills, Florida where they have a beautiful home at Clear Lake.  He got to enjoy several trips over the past couple of years with Jo's family and has made many memorable times both in Zephyrhills and Fort Lauderdale where Jo Ann's father Bob lives.  Pat made sure Jo was hooked up with a golf cart as soon as they got to Florida; it's a must have toy in the sunshine state.

Pat's quick wit, sense of humor, and big heart will sorely be missed by all who knew and loved him.  We all love you dearly Pat, will see you on down the road.  In the meantime, we know we have another special guardian angel, just way too soon.

Besides his mom who survives him, Patrick is also survived by his beloved son Robert McCue, his long-time loving companion Jo Ann (Cain) Sheldon, her daughter Samantha Konechne and her husband Ed. He was "Papa Pat" to Anna and Hattie. He was the dear brother of Bonnie Babin and husband Robert, Nancy Flaherty and husband Joseph, the late Karen O'Connell and husband John, the late Daniel McCue, the late Timothy McCue, Erin Alberts and husband Timothy, Sean McCue and Fiancé' Nichole Mungo, Ryan McCue and wife Ashley, Kevin McCue and wife Robyn, Shannon Busa and husband Joseph, Shamus McCue and wife Kylee, Caitlin McCue and companion Brian, Brendan McCue, Marjorie McCue, his loving Step-mother Pat McCue.  Also survived by his former wife and friend Susan McCue Pellerin, he was the dear son-in-law of Helen Pellerin and the late Robert Pellerin.  Pat is further survived by many Grand nieces and Nephews, cousins, his extended Cain Family and many friends.
