Paul L. York

Paul L. York, age 90, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023, surrounded by his children. 

Paul was the beloved husband of the late Ruth M. (Cormier) York and the late MaryAnn (Alartosky) York, devoted father of Leslie Carroll & her husband Ray of Middleton, Brian York & his wife Betsy of Auburn, NY, Kevin York & his wife Debbie of Tewksbury, and Corey York & his wife Heather of Rutland, loving “Papa” of Janice Hurst & her husband Christopher, Kristen Carroll, Benjamin York, Braden York, Sarah Scott-Sandagato & her husband Victor, Kaylyn Michaud, Delaney Dionne & her husband Bailey, and Mallory York, “Great-Papa” of Sawyer Dionne, cherished son of the late Guy L. and Louise E. (Jacobs) York, step-father of Mark Cappi, John Cappi, and Linda (Cappi) Lavoie, step-grandfather of Lauren Cappi, Joshua Cappi, Alex Cappi, Olivia Cappi, Sage Cappi, the late Tyler Lavoie, Kayleigh Lavoie, Jaime Hurley & her spouse Stephanie Meyer, and Shannon Rauh & her husband Erik.  Paul is also survived by his step-great grandchildren, Owen Rauh, and Garrett Rauh.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Wednesday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.  Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
