Reese, June Obituary
June B. Reese, age 87, of Alton, NH, formerly of Wilmington, died Monday, February 23, 2009, at the Epsom Manor in Epsom, NH, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Malden, MA, on February 3, 1922, June was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Crowley) Jenkins and sister of the late Harry Jenkins, Jr., Gertrude Morse, and Gladys Blankman.
June was employed a supervisor for the Family Laundry Company in Malden for many years.
June moved to Wilmington in the early 1950's, where she resided until her health declined a few years ago.
June was an active member of the Wilmington Senior Center and the Wilmington Congregational Church. She will be remembered as a woman who loved to play bingo and pool and she was very generous to those she loved.
June was the beloved wife of the late Edward Reese, loving aunt of Robert K. Morse & his wife Barbara of North Port, FL, Ronald Blankman of Springhill, FL, Linda Muise of Tuskett, Nova Scotia, the late David K. Morse and his wife Glenna Morse of Alton, NH, dear cousin of Louise & Pauline Lane of Wilmington, June is also survived by many great and great-great nieces & nephews.
Services for June will be held at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
