Johnson, Robert I., 88, of Wilmington, formerly of Melrose, July 2, 2007, beloved husband of Irene C. (Norris), devoted father of Robert Johnson & his wife Diane of Ogunquit, ME, Richard Johnson & his wife Jeanette, and Steven Johnson & his wife Betty Jo all of Wilmington, dear brother of Walter Johnson of Virginia, Harold Johnson of Boston, Mary Marinera of Harwich, and the late Arthur Johnson, loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private.

Memorial donation's in Robert's name may be made to Hospice Care Inc., 100 Sylvan Road, Woburn, MA 01801. U. S. Navy Veteran, WWII. Retired member of Local #4 National Elevator.
