Roberta Bergeron Obituary

Roberta J. “Bobbie” (Corella) Bergeron, 59, of Hillsboro, NH, formerly of Wilmington, died Friday, March 16, at the Concord Hospice House in Concord, NH, following a courageous battle with cancer. Bobbie was born October 18, 1947, in Jamaica Plain, MA, she was the beloved daughter of Dominic Corella, of Harwich, MA, formerly of Wilmington, MA, and the late Pearl (Chase) Corella. Bobbie spent the majority of her life in Wilmington and was educated there. She moved to Hillsboro, NH, in 1991, where she resided until her death. Bobbie was a devoted homemaker, she loved her family and friends and she doted on her grandchildren. She was also an animal lover, an avid shopper, and she enjoyed camping with family and friends, who will miss her dearly.

Bobbie was the devoted mother of Janette Shanley of Litchfield, NH, Mary (Gay) Mitchell of Lowell, and John Bergeron & his wife Karen of Hillsboro, NH, beloved daughter of Dominic Corella of Harwich, formerly of Wilmington, life partner of Bruce Anderson of Hillsboro, NH, loving grandmother of James and Stephen Shanley, John Bergeron, and her “one and only” granddaughter Samantha Shanley, dear sister of Dominic Corella and Mary Murray both of Florida, Doris Corella of Dracut, Betty Myers and Lillian Stewart both of Haverhill, and the late Dominic and Richard Corella, special friend of Terri Hurst of Hillsboro, NH, and she is also survived by several nieces & nephews as well as great nieces & nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62) Wilmington on Tuesday, March 20. Interment was private.

In lieu of flowers donation's in Roberta's name may be made to Concord Hospice House, 250 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301.
