Rodrigo Rosa Obituary

Rodrigo Ferreira Rosa, age 24 of Wilmington, passed away on October 21, 2022, due to injuries sustained in an accident.

Rodrigo was born on April 25, 1998, to Paulo Rosa and Alessandra Ferreira in Brighton. Rodrigo was the beloved brother of Christopher Rosa, truelove of Genevieve Casucci, and dear grandson of Leide and Antonio Ferreira.

After Rodrigo graduated from Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational School in 2016, he went on to study Automotive Technology and High Performance at New England Institute of Technology.

After graduating with a degree in Automotive Technology, he started his first job at Crowne as a technician, kickstarting his career to where he would then work at Lineage Logistics as Maintenance Manager.

Rodrigo’s love and care for everyone around him was beautiful. He always brought laughs to the faces of friends, family, and even strangers. His patience was something that was unmatched. Rodrigo was naturally talented, he was happy to fix anything for anyone, which he did the best job of. The word no, never came out of his mouth, the closest thing to no was “I’m okay”. He was such a unique man, who loved to dress up and stand out. He enjoyed snowboarding and drag racing with his friends. But most of all loved anything to do with vehicles, whether it was driving, fixing, buying, and talking about them. The only thing that he loved more than cars, was his loving girlfriend.

In 2016, Rodrigo met the girl of his dreams, Genevieve Casucci at Northeast Vocational School on the swim team. Rodrigo and Genevieve would have been together for 7 years in February. The couple were excited to start a family and future together. They planned  to get married and have a baby in 2 years, once Genevieve graduated from Nursing school, something Rodrigo was unbelievably proud of. Rodrigo’s love for Genevieve was something that he held dear to him. She was his number one for everything, always spending as much time as he could with her and doing things to make her happy.

Rodrigo’s parents, Paulo and Alessandra raised Rodrigo to be the exceptional man he was. Rodrigo was their first-born son, and gained all his amazing qualities, including his handiness and kindness, from his parents. Rodrigo and his parents shared a love for the world and spent much of their time together travelling together along with his loving brother, Chris.

The relationship Rodrigo had with his brother, Chris was very important to him, whom he loved dearly. Rodrigo is very proud of him for going on to study at New York University, and how great of a man he is becoming.

Rodrigo is survived by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
