Ross, A. Jr. Obituary

Lawrence A. Ross, Jr., age 61, of Wilmington, died suddenly February 21, 2008, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida.

He was born on June 9, 1946, in Waltham, MA, son of the late Lawrence A. & Virginia (Foreman) Ross. Larry attended Waltham public schools before joining the U. S. Marine Corps and the Reserve where he served for 38 years, retiring as a MSGT. He was a veteran of the VietnamWar. He was also a former employee of Fugi Film Microdisks of Bedford, MA for 29 years. Larry served as a volunteer at the VA Hospital in Bedford and enjoyed restoring antique cars, playing the bagpipes and golfing. Following retirement he and his wife wintered in Port Charlotte for the last two years.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Saturday, June 7th from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
