Stephen K. Lee

Stephen K. Lee, age 65, of Tewksbury, MA, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on March 5, 2023, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Stephen was born on July 27, 1957, in Brookline, MA; he was the son of the late Robert Bellew of Holbrook and the late Edith Lee. Stephen was raised and educated in Charlestown, MA, and was a graduate of Charlestown High School Class of 1975.

Following high school, Stephen lived in Dorchester and went to work as a truck transportation dispatcher. In concert with his funny disposition, Stephen was a bartender at the pony room in Dorchester for many years as well as several other establishments. He purchased Club 125 in Haverhill and owned it until 2005. 

In 1990 Stephen met the love of his life Theresa LeMoine; together they bought their home and moved to Tewksbury. MA, where he resided until his death. 

Stephen was a proud member of Sons of the American Legion; he was also a member of St. Anthony’s Social Club as well as the Wilmington- Tewksbury Lodge of Elks.

Stephen is survived by his wife Theresa LeMoine, daughter Candace Womack, her husband Drew Womack Sr., his grandson Drew Womack Jr., his brothers, and sisters the late Robert Bellew of Holbrook, the late Linda LeVine of Winter Haven, FL, Joyce Bellew of Holbrook, Theresa McGrail of Milton, Jeanne Grant of Weymouth, and Mark Micalizzi of Wilmington.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, on Sunday, March 12th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  A Service to Celebrate Stephen’s life will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 13th at 11:30 a.m.
