William C. Townsend, 67, of Wilmington, died Saturday, March 1, 2008.
William was the beloved son of Josephine M. (Forester) Woodard and the late Roger Woodard of Wilmington, dear brother of Edwin “Jake” Townsend & his wife Ruth of Wilmington, Steve Townsend & his wife Nancy of Shrewsbury and the late Francis Townsend, brother-in-law of Dorothy Bickford of Derry, NH, also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were private. Memorial donations in William's name may be made to the Special Olympics of Greater Boston, 288 Newbury St. Suite 308, Boston, MA 02215.
