Mr. Victor M. Belanger, 51, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Victor was born September 17, 1955, in East Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Colombe (Gregoire) Belanger. He grew up in Somerville and was educated there. Victor was employed as a supervisor for the Boston Metal Company, which later became Boston Retail Products in Medford for over 26 years and was most recently a courier for New England Shuttle for the last several years. In his spare time, he was an avid sports fan, he loved baseball whether it was the Red Sox or the Lowell Spinners he enjoyed watching their games, he loved cars, especially his “Chevy's” and was considered a “backyard mechanic”. But Victor was most noted for being a good man, he was very humble, had a big heart, a good neighbor always helping and never having an ill word to say, and he loved his children and his family and he will be greatly missed by them.
Victor was the devoted father of Tia M. McFarland of Hanover, Joseph T. Belanger of Brockton, Kelly R. Belanger of Providence, RI, & Nicolas E. Belanger of Wilmington, brother of Daniel Belanger of Florida, Eli Belanger of Cambridge, Paul Belanger of Tewksbury, Angie Casey of California, Nan Tice of Pennsylvania, and the late Norburt Belanger, grandfather of Ashley Jenkins, LiAmber McFarland, & Addisyn Potter, Companion of Stacy Doherty, and step-father of Malicia Doherty both of Wilmington.
His Funeral was held from the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at St. Dorothy's Church. Interment took place in Wildwood Cemetery.
